Fire worship is a powerful means of connecting human beings with the Divine, present in many cultures and religious traditions.
In Hinduism, the practice of yajna or homam has endured for millennia, and is now enjoying a revival in both India and the Western world. Julien Théophile, who has been practicing homam for many years, will explore its importance in the spiritual life, highlighting both its profound meaning and the concrete benefits it brings on the spiritual path. Participants will also receive advice on how to develop a personal relationship with the Fire element, combining theory and practice. |
Julien THÉOPHILE (Arunachaleshwara Sharma) is a French-Canadian psychologist with a long-standing interest in the intersection of psychological growth and spiritual realization. He recently completed a master's degree in theology under the direction of Fabrice Blée. He has been practicing Hinduism for over 20 years, having been initiated into the Vedic and Tantric traditions in India. Julien is passionate about classical Sanskrit chanting and Hindu rituals, which he sees as powerful methods for activating the numinous dimension of the psyche.
