Towards a new beginning or the art of transition
Turning a dead end into a passageway
DESCRIPTION
Would you like to make a fresh start, to live in line with your deepest aspirations? Retire, change careers, move abroad or simply choose happiness. All these major transitions are not self-evident. How do you take the step into the unknown? What does it mean to follow your inner drive? How can we make this a spiritual process? Travel is a time for self-discovery and redefining priorities. Travel through Costa Rica to explore your inner landscapes, from the densest jungles to the wildest beaches and the most radiant sunsets. This retreat is an opportunity to get to grips with tried-and-tested theological-spiritual tools capable of offering the discernment and insight needed to make this transition in the best possible conditions. |
Fabrice Blée developed these tools in 2003 at Georgetown University (Washington, DC), following his stays in a Zen monastery in Japan from 2000 to 2002. Since then, these tools have helped many students assess their aspirations, dare to take the plunge and deepen their spiritual journey.
FORMULA
We opt for a group of just 5 people. A small group means greater interaction, better learning and deeper exchanges.
The days are punctuated by periods of meditation, teachings, discussions, private exchanges with Fabrice Blée, free time and introspection, moments of rejoicing, visits and discoveries.

ABOUT FABRICE BLÉE
Fabrice Blée is a professor in Ottawa, Canada. He has been teaching theology for 30 years. He obtained his doctorate from the Université de Montréal, defending a thesis on monastic interreligious dialogue. He has carried out two post-doctoral fellowships, one at the Delhi School of Theology and the other at Georgetown University in Washington DC, and has published several books and numerous articles on spirituality between contemplation and hospitality. His passion is to give access to the rich mystical tradition of Christianity, in dialogue with other religions, so as to respond to the desire for fulfillment present in everyone. Following the creative impulse has always been her driving force. This has led him to study theology, to write, to settle in Canada and then Costa Rica, to share the life of Zen monks in Japan, to spend more than a year in India, to make a film about Henri Le Saux and to create Solars, a center for training and research in spirituality.
