Henri Le Saux left us 50 years ago to join the other shore. He is one of those men who left their mark on their era by proposing new avenues in the context of a Church and a world in crisis. His legacy is based on a practice of hospitality between rootedness and openness, between contemplation and action.
This presentation is an opportunity to show how the Breton monk understands interreligious dialogue as a spiritual path, and how it challenges an inclusive, transhumanist society. |
Fabrice BLÉE, PhD, Associate Professor of Theology at Saint Paul University in Ottawa, founded SOLARS CENTRE because he saw the lack of reference points among people wishing to live a deep spirituality and reappropriate the contemplative roots of Christianity in resonance with humanity's mystical and philosophical heritage. He feels very close to Henri Le Saux, about whom he has written several articles and directed a documentary film, L'Aurore du tréfonds (2017). He is also internationally recognized for his work on Monastic Interreligious Dialogue, of which Le Saux is one of the main inspirers.
